About
Most people who admire Warren Buffett never get much past the quotes. The letters are wonderful, but turning them into a judgement about a real company takes hours with a 10-K and a spreadsheet, and it's easy to fool yourself along the way.
AI makes it easy to produce a confident-sounding stock write-up in seconds. That's exactly the problem. A fluent paragraph isn't evidence. So we built the opposite: the numbers are computed in code from SEC filings, the model has to quote the filing for every judgement, a separate pass argues against the company, and the verdict comes from fixed rules you can read on the methodology page.
The other thing we noticed is that copying Berkshire misses the point. Buffett at your size would behave very differently from Buffett at Berkshire's. Replicly adjusts the lens to your capital, time and temperament, because the principles travel but the constraints don't.
Financial statements and filings come from the SEC's EDGAR system. Interest rates come from the US Treasury, and market-wide data from the Federal Reserve and the Bureau of Economic Analysis via FRED. End-of-day prices come from free public sources, which can be delayed or missing; we show the date on every price. Analysis is written with Anthropic's Claude.
